Who I am

My name is Sydney West and I am the founder and main composer for West Media. I have a BM in Commercial Music: Film Scoring and a Master’s in Music Education. I have seven years of experience working in the field of film and media composition. 

My love for film and music started at an early age and has only grown as I’ve experienced the many different ways that music and film can effect change in the world and touch the lives of the people that experience them.

The main emphasis in my work is on creative collaboration and healthy communication. I believe that any opportunity I have to collaborate is an opportunity to create something that the world has yet to see!

What I Offer

Film and short film Music

I have experience working on feature films, student films, indie films, and short films. I am willing to work in a multitude of genera and love creating sounds that are unique to your creative project.

Television Music

My experience with feature films and short films as well as my degrees in composing give me a clear understanding of how to collaborate for the creation of television music. 

Video Game Music

I would love the opportunity to work with developers on a project like this. I enjoy playing video games in my free time and am ready to add one to my reel of work.

Audio Branding

Looking to create a new brand or image for your company? Having an audio brand is a step in the right direction. I am interested in creating audio brands as well as writing music to accompany any advertisements.
